I am a watercolor artist from Ottawa, Canada. For many of my paintings I
use a pouring technique which allows my colors to blend in
unpredictable ways. I am currently working on a series called "Memories
of Venice" inspired by three recent trips to this incredible city: I try
to convey the unique light, the crumbling brickwork that still
maintains a touch of past splendor.
My other love is floral painting: peonies, magnolias and waterlilies are
nature's little jewels. I am an active member of the Ottawa Art Association where I serve as Web Gallery Coordinator and Webmaster; I am proud to be a permanent juried-in member of the well-knownFoyer Gallery in Ottawa.
Check my work in the Australian online gallery called Red Bubble. One of my recent awards on this site is the following: Top Ten in the Aquatic and Hygrangea Challenge for my "Queen of the Pond" - this painting also received 3 features on that site in a three week period!
