Dianne Mize lives with her Schnauzer, Maggie, in the lower mountains of northeast Georgia. She taught at Piedmont College and in Georgia's Governor's Honors Program before launching her private art school where she taught until her retirement in 2007.
Considering herself now in her second career, she currently spends her time painting subjects she finds in nature and writing tutorials for her blog, Compose.
Dianne currently shows her work at InsideOut Sautee Gallery in Sautee, Georgia.
