I am new to painting, so don't yet have "my style" as I love so many different styles of painting. My plan is to simply paint, learning as the old masters learned by copying famous painters as well as current painters I admire. I find looking at a painting is not a learning experience - trying to achieve something they achieved involves a lot of trial and error on my part and I am constantly surprised how easy some things are that I thought would be difficult, and how challenging other things are that I thought would be easy!
All of my art helps to support animal rescue efforts, especially the Garuda Aviary Parrot Sanctuary, the ASPCA and my local shelter, The Montgomery County Humane Society. I donate at least 30% of each sale to a rescue, and the rest helps me be able to buy more art supplies -- so a big thank you for your purchase!
