In March 2009, I completed a career transition to art after more than a decade studying and working in the architectural field. This change in career direction began a few years ago, when I started taking figure drawing classes at a local art league as a means of getting more in touch with my creative side. In the autumn of 2006, I registered for my first oil-painting class. Immediately I was hooked, spending every weekend and most evenings painting in my home studio.
Since that time I have pursued a path that focused on art, building my craft and vision. I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my loving and supportive husband, our infant daughter, and our Abyssinian kitty, Slim.
