I love to paint. It's a joy and a pleasure. If I get lucky, I lose my sense of self and watch it being painted, like you would watch a movie. Those are the magic moments for me. Whatever the subject matter or medium, the use of composition, color, and texture are the elements that bring an endless depth of experimentation and mystery.
In the fifth grade, while on a swing set, I made the decision to become an artist. Since then I graduated from art school and studied with two awesome painting teachers who were most influential. I have been in the video game industry for over 15 years and now feel the pull to make the transition to painting full time.
It's my intention that these little paintings will help foster inspiration and lead to bigger and more substantial art in the future, bringing painting to the forefront in my life. In the spirit of sharing my joy and growth, I have decided to do small daily paintings and post the most fruitful ones here to sell. I hope you enjoy my fruit.
