I'm inspired by the colors, seasons, and elements of nature. I'm inspired by the pure hearts of the animal kingdom, and the unconditional love in a dogs eyes. I'm continually inspired by the people, places, and things around me. 

I enjoy painting the scenes of everyday life and finding beauty in unexpected places. My daily painting practice has opened my eyes to subject matter that I wouldn't have considered before. I post monday through friday on my daily painting blog, and talk a little about each day's work.

I live in the beautiful Loess Hills of Iowa with my wonderful husband (a part time potter), and pets - a sweet Rat Terrier named Cloud the Wonder Dog, and a 19 year old cat who is convinced she's the Queen of the Universe.
