I find material and inspiration for my paintings here in my north cost region and traveling several times a year to photograph and paint on location. In addition to smaller pieces, like those displayed here, my travels also provide me with reference material for larger pieces developed in my studio and generally shown in my galleries. Some of my favorite subjects include the coastal regions and ranch lands of California as well as protected areas not often seen by the public such as regional Land Trusts of my home state. As a landscape painter I hope to raise awareness of the beauty of these areas and the need to conserve them.
My work has won recognition and awards in regional and national juried exhibitions and can be seen regularly in several galleries in California and on my web sites. Thank you for visiting.
