I am currently painting and teaching from my studio in Monmouth,
Maine. I am mostly self-taught although, my mother is a professional artist and
mentored me from early on. I started training in watercolor but most recently, I
have been working with oils. I took art lessons from a number of artists and
began painting full-time over 15 years ago. I have attended many art shows, won
some awards and sold quite a few paintings. For the last six years I have been
focused on showing my art at "Cafe This Way" in Bar Harbor, Maine. This unique
restaurant has proved to be the perfect venue for my art. they allow me a
rotating show of about 25 to 30 pieces between May and October. I am still doing
some art shows, but I am most loyal to devoting my time for this particular
show. So I am painting tons in the winter and gathering inspiration in the short
summer season here in Maine. I'm loving the freedom I have now painting what I
want and receiving so much support!
