I've been a high school art teacher for 25 years, and recently retired.  On Sept 11, 2010 I started to do a daily painting blog, to create discipline in my art, and to loosen my painting style.  In August, 2011, I attended Carol Marine's workshop in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, and learned so much about how to apply the paint, and loosen my overall approach.   I feel that the daily painting has been my best teacher.  Along with teaching and painting, I have a husband, of 44 years, and 3 grown children, and 2 wonderful granddaughters.  Life certainly IS good !
