I'm an award-winning painter and painting instructor based in colorful Colorado. My primary artistic
inspiration is, and always has been, natural elements. I most enjoy exploring
the complex patterns, colors, symbols, and organic textures of nature.
Van Gogh once offered that
artists should listen to the “language of nature.” While my work is often spontaneous and
intuitive, I also strive to balance this energy with thoughtful “listening” as
Van Gogh suggests.
While nature is my muse,
color is my daily creative passion. Whether I’m working in watercolor, oil,
acrylic or mixed media I enjoy celebrating the never ending mystery of color
relationships.
