Artist Statement:
I am a California Impressionist living in the High Sierras. My personal interpretations of figurative work, landscape, cityscape or still life, all with loose painterly strokes of oil, continues to be my core attraction to the gobs of rich paint on my palette. And oh how I love those gobs… My art has been described as prolific and addictive by some of my clients, they love paint gobs as well.
Exhibitions:

I favor alla-prima painting because it sparks my emotional response better than a structure of time-related layers. Sketching daily, as well as plein air painting, facilitates ideas and serves as an important tool in advancement in my art studies. The richness of oils in particular enhances this field of study all the more.

The challenge in the pursuit of art persuades me to continue to the finish as I learn and experiment with the what-ifs.
