Hello! My name is Debbie, and I am an artist living in upstate NY.   I have always been intensely interested in art, even as a child.  I grew up drawing and painting, experimenting with watercolors, acrylic, oil paints, pen and ink, etc, and always reading and collecting art books, magazines, and taking occasional workshop classes at the local art gallery. 
In the last 3 years or so, I have focused on daily painting, and offering my small oil paintings for sale online.  I usually paint from life, and most often choose to paint still life paintings.  I love to create colorful, quiet, peaceful paintings in a realistic style, with a traditional quality about them.    I am continually learning, painting and exploring, and enjoying the journey.  I also love spending time viewing the art of others.  What a blessing it is to be able to see the wonderful artwork of so many other artists, created every day, simply by turning on the computer.
