I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and currently live in Skanör, Sweden where I paint everyday from my home studio. Painting from life, my inspiration is found in everyday objects and nature. An important factor in my art work is capturing not only the outer appearance of my subjects, but conveying their inner essence in a harmonious and peaceful manner. A life long artist, I completed the four year long classical painting training at The Atelier in Minneapolis in 2009.
