Welcome! I am an artist living in the Yukon - Canada's Far North. My joy is to create authentic, beautiful & original paintings; I am mostly self-taught. I have been painting seriously for about 25 years using water medias ( watercolour, acrylic & mixed medias).

I live on the Magundy River, 4 hours northeast of Whitehorse, on the Robert Campbell Highway. Living off-grid is a way of life that affords me peace, simplicity and solitude - all an integral part of my process. Our cabin is nestled in the trees, by the river and in the Pelly Mountains. It has taken our family a decade to build our home in the wilderness. Clear the land, live in a wall tent for the first few seasons, build the cabin, shop and studio. It has not always been easy but the rewards have been great. The light, wind, movement & colour of the natural world stimulate my creativity and imagination. Living daily in the wilderness, in the moment, creating one painting at a time..... this is my world.

Artist-quality paints, acid-free, primed, canvas or Arches Watercolour Papers are used to ensure your purchase is of the highest quality.... Landscapes are my subject of choice and sometimes, I try something different! It's what inspires me, moves me, animates me!

I look forward to this daily journey of self- discovery and enjoy sharing my joy of art with you. I am deeply grateful for the good life. It is important that I give back something through my art for all that I have received, this is a big part of my purpose.
Thank you for your support and feedback.
