‚ÄčAvid oil painter, lover of books and WWII-era history, passionate for animal rescues and Cad Red Light

My style of painting has been described as impressionistic, loose, and charming, capturing subjects near my home in middle Tennessee in simple settings with lots of delicious, beautiful color. Although I've experimented with several  mediums over the years, I now concentrates mostly in transparent oils. And Alla Prima (painting in one session) is my style preference.

I love teaching as much as painting, and in any given week I may teach 5-7 classes or workshops.
