She has been a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society since 2003 and was juried into Spanish Village Art Cener in 2011.  

Susanne was trained at Jeff Watt's Atelier in San Diego where she learned the classical approach to art thru drawing and sculpture. Her local painting mentor has been the award winning artist Jim Mallard.  Internationally known instructors include Alvaro Castagnet, Frank Webb, Don Andrews, Frank Francese, Eric Wiegardt and Dale Laitinen.

 She currently lives in San Diego CA with her husband and two dogs where she enjoys painting street scenes and city scapes.
