Media: oil on gessoed masonite
Size: 5x5 in
I pass this scene every time I go to the post office in my neighborhood. I always wanted to paint it but didn't want to stand on the bridge in full view of all the traffic to do so. One day when no one was around I stopped and snapped a photo of it. I forgot about it until taking a workshop this weekend with Enid Wood and I neglected to bring a photo reference. I pulled out my phone and found it. The pastel one I did in the workshop is not quite done, but I did this quick oil version of it for DPW.
