Claude Monet painted approximately 250 paintings of waterlilies. He said that his intent was "the illusion of an endless whole, of water without horizon or bank." In his waterlily series, without spatial cues, the water's surface and reflecting sky become one in a move toward abstraction. So this challenge is about creating a composition without spatial cues that would ground the subject in a particular place, such as a reflective surface, to achieve that "illusion of an endless whole".Feel free to use my photo as your reference, it was taken in August at Bass Lake in Blowing Rock NC, or use one of your own.
