Numbers and letters are versatile subjects, either connecting emotionally as symbols of communication or as intriguing abstract shapes and designs. Paint the attached photo or choose your own subject, perhaps a page from a book, a clock, handwritten letter, child's alphabet blocks, words on shop windows, candy wrapper, sheet music, price signs at a farmer's market, scripture, tombstones, newspapers, license plate, faded advertising on the side of an old building - even blender buttons or punctuation! The numbers or letters can be major elements or a smaller part of the picture. Either way, they can make fascinating subjects and compositions. Have fun!
Please be sure to follow the spirit and the letter of the challenge.
For example, each submission must be painted after the challenge is posted.
