Today, April 2, is National Ferret Day!
What a wonderful excuse to paint an adorable ferret, something you probably haven't tried before. Their eyes have distinctive dark markings around them and they've got long bodies. Here is an image from morguefiles.com
for you to use, or you're free to find your own image. Maybe you're fortunate enough to be able to work from a live ferret! The word ferret is derived from Latin meaning "little theif". I don't know it the one in the picture is a Jill (female ferrets) or a Hob (male ferrets), but it's a cutie!
Happy Painting Everyone.
