This week's challenge is to add foil to your painting. I decided a still life would be the easiest place to do this. : ) I added a flat sheet that had been crinkled a bit, but feel free to wrap an object(s) in foil instead. Or whatever other creative thing you can think of.
Keep in mind that the foil will reflect whatever is around it. There will probably be lots of darks from around the room, and some highlights. Squint and compare all these values to other values in your scene. Most importantly, compare the darkest darks in the foil, to the darkest darks in your scene, and likewise with all the lights. Value will be key. Have fun!
