We had a veggie challenge recently, so I thought it'd be fun to explore fruit with this one! There are so many varieties, in all different vivid colors and shapes. Find ones that you've never painted before, like the starfruit in the picture to the left. Try to make your painting juicy and mouthwatering! Perhaps have it as a refreshing snack when you're done.
You can take a trip to your local grocery store or farmer's market to see what they have to offer and use it to create your own composition. If you'd like, you can paint this free to use image from morguefile or find you own.
Thanks Lucy Paz for suggesting starfruit!
If you have any ideas or photos you think would make a good future challenge, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be sure to follow the spirit and the letter of the challenge.
For example, each submission must be painted after the challenge is posted.
