Sometimes the subject of a painting is about something that is really nothing ( like a Seinfeld episode). There is an oddly shaped shadow that appears at the side of my house in the late afternoon. I have found myself interested in this shadow and how it is the main focus of attention because of its odd shape. It is discordant and that makes it dynamic to my eye. Can you find an odd shaped shadow and make it the center of interest of your painting?
HInt: Look at the spaces between things. That is where these shapes tend to lurk. And if you have any ideas for future challenges, please let Carol know! (firstname.lastname@example.org) Thanks!
Please be sure to follow the spirit and the letter of the challenge.
For example, each submission must be painted after the challenge is posted.
