Viewing this scene from above creates a different feel. I have painted Sloane square many times!
It's one of my best spots to paint in London. For the first time I actually take it on from above. I tried to create a sense of motion and speed even in the absence of cars and buses, as this is a very busy road. Its the effect of light on the whole scene that particularly interests me!
