Another portrait of a delightful bird, the Emu from Australia. Emu are slightly smaller than their distant cousins Ostrich, with a feathered head and rudimentary wings.This Emu looks sharp against a darker background which has been painted loosely.I have kept him loose and fresh,only the whiskers were painted in crisp strokes. The painting is on best quality Daler Rowney cold pressed paper which has a bright, cream-white tone.I will ship it flat, packed suitably.
