Yes, another bad F-word... :)The Linden have already started to color their leaves yellow. But actually I wanted to practice how to paint translucent light. The transmitted light makes the leaves bright chromatic yellow. Leaves in the shade are in the darkest green. In between, there are those that reflect the brown ground and those who are affected by the blue of the sky.
Thanks to James Gurney for his inspirational book »Color and Light« ***NOTE: This painting is part of a charity fundraising - There will be no shippig costs for the buyer. 25 $ will be for the charity project "Friends of the Bult" which is a children hospital in Hanover/Germany and obviously the rest will find it's way into my pockets - from which I am going to pay the shipping costs ***
