I have found that painting chickens is so much fun... once you take the mystery out of how they are constructed... This girl lives at an awesome animal reserve near Harrisburg, PA called Lake Tobias. Of all the animals they have there (ranging from lions and bears, to monkeys and giraffes) I found the chickens the most interesting. This little lady is just one of many paintings I have done from photos I took the day I visited.
