Media: watercolor (with some acrylic ink that's iridescent) on 140# 100% acid free rag Shizen Professional grade paper. This paper is really textured. The measurements aren't exact either as the 9" x 12" is a little narrower on the top. Edges are all deckled.

This piece was painted on Shizen paper which is really textured! The texture adds a lot of interest to the painting. I spattered some acrylic ink and also some iridescent acrylic ink over the watercolor. This painting has led to some exploration of other handmade papers which take washes really beautifully!
The 12" x 9" size isn't consistent on this paper because it is handmade. The top is a little narrower. All of the edges are deckle edges. Thanks to Ketty for the opportunity to use this paper!!!!!
