Thanksgiving is a time to stop and acknowledge all of the gifts and abundance we are surrounded by. A time to recognize the mystery of our very existence. Rene Magritte said, "One cannot speak about the mystery, one must be seized by it." All that we need is here and now providing everything if we just open our eyes and see. Like this thanks-giving, black capped chickadee, if we simply live in the joy, and trust...there will be berries in winter. Spread your wings and fly. According to Joan Chittister, "Life is not about knowing exactly what we're meant to do. It's about doing what must be done that makes of our lives a song." Find anything, but find something to sing about.
