I am a studio artist and educator, maintaining two bodies of work. The work found here involves a daily painting practice of observing and recording everyday objects and environments, yearning to tell a story. These small works fuel my love of storytelling and influence the narrative content of my larger figurative work, which combines my love of painting and drawing with my family history of sewing and quilting. My artwork has been exhibited widely and is in a number of private and public collections around the world.
