      Carol is a life long resident of the Jersey shore who has always had a creative side but her love affair with watercolors began when she started taking classes. 
   

 “I love how becoming an artist has made me look at my surroundings in a whole new way.  I have always loved the outdoors but now I see details that I never noticed before.”
       

She is inspired by nature, the beach and her own backyard.  Carol is also a photographer who started capturing the world around her for references photos for her business “yankeegirl art” whose name comes from her lifelong love of The New York Yankees.
     

 Carol also teaches watercolor classes and she loves watching her students fall in love with the medium like she did when she first started.  

 Carol also enjoys being at her and her husband's cabin in southern Virginia, taking walks, gardening and being with her family, friends and pets.
