Most of my mountain landscapes are painted with only my palette knife. I prefer a generous amount of oil paint. Although painting impasto is challenging especially when applying small details, it gives me a sense of freedom. The painting grows organically in an unpredictable way like nature itself. These mountain landscapes depict the organic shapes and vibrant colors of the beautiful nature that surrounds us with luscious meadows, rocky mountains, colorful sunsets, and wildflower blooms.
