Art and visual perceptions have always been an important part of my life. I was the kid that preferred to be coloring and painting rather that shooting hoops or riding my bike. I pursued a career in dental ceramics and my art took a backseat for a while. Then a friend talked me into attending a painting class and I rediscovered my joy. I then continued my education by taking workshops with artists I admired and painting painting painting. I was encouraged to start exhibiting and did very well. Soon I was being asked to teach workshops and I enjoy this too. Although I like painting just a tad more.
My current enthusiasm is for watercolor and oils, but enjoy other mediums too.
I do commission work mostly in portraits but occasionally I am asked for another type. Pets, landscapes, boats, cars and motorcycles are some of the requests.
