I’ve been an artist and musician for about as long as I can remember.  As an only child I had the luxury of abundant alone time, and in my early years I drew incessantly.  Later, I’d get into music with a similar fervor, and to such an extent that it ultimately led to a Bachelor of Music Composition from Berklee College of Music, in Boston, MA.  Soon after graduation I felt the need to start painting landscapes.  I painted almost exclusively from my imagination based on scenes I regularly saw in and around Central MA, where I was living. I placed special emphasis on composition, and to this day I still get a kick out of how the principles associated with music composition also apply to the visual arts.  The music was still loud and clear, as was my path towards a Master of Acupuncture, a private practice, a move to upstate NY, and family life with two lovely daughters.   The past ten years have been an interesting artistic balance of composing, performing and painting.  Recently though, and especially with the shutdown I’ve decided to put music on hold, and delve fully into landscape painting.

I hope you enjoy my work.
