Dianna Poindexter
As an artist I am drawn to many subjects in nature and life that moves me emotionally. My affinity for the environment, family, friends, animals and music has allowed me to record my vision and experiences through paintings.

All of my work is derived from reference material, memory and intuition. The materials I use are Oil and Acyrlic on canvas or paper.

I create large-scale work that incorporates spiritual and poetic undertones throughout. My paintings are realistic and vibrantly rich with color.

My work has been shown in Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania & can be found in several private collections. I've received the Outstanding Community Service Award in the Lehigh Valley for art work donated to the Children's Center at Crime Victims Council & received a scholarship from Art Forms Gallery in Manyunk, PA. I am originally from Arizona and moved to Philadelphia, PA., to attend Moore College of Art & Design, where I received a BFA in Painting & Sculpture. I now work and reside in Bethlehem, PA.
