A perfect place to study!

Oil Painter Plein Air Artist
I am the perfect example that it is never too late to explore your passions. On an unusual Spring like day in the month of March in Michigan, I had a Divine appointment that began my journey in exploring en Plein air (painting outoors or from life). While strolling along a river I met an Artist who inspired me and helped me find a mentor . Just a few short years ago I first put a paint brush to canvas. I also paint in the studio but my passion is trying to express even a small view of the amazing places God has created. I beleive I have always been a student of life both in nature and in human relationships. Painting has opened my eyes to even further my dive into the world. We live in an inspiring universe. I almost feel like a toddler that is seeing things for the first time. My joy is in having my Art bring joy to someone else. I have the blessing of being able to travel and paint in some of the most beautiful places in our United States.
I have studied with Sharon Griffes Tarr, Richard Jordan and Joy Richmond of Pickle Street Studio and School. I have spent many hours in the field with other artists attending several week long retreats "en plein Air " . I am a member of both GLPAPA and PAAWM and attend many of the paint outs . I have recently painted with a group from TASGOB based in Florida. I also am an avid viewer and study with Paint tube videos from plein air Magazine . I have competed and completed 10 -30 day paint draw everyday challenges through Strada Easel.
I continue my quest to pursue how to best express myself in my paintings.
Loving the view!
