CUSTOM PAINTING REQUESTS : COMMISSIONS
A one-of-a-kind, custom painting, for yourself or as a gift, is a cherished treasure forever!
Commissioning art is easier than you might imagine...
- You contact me.
- We communicate about the details.
- You send me a 3-4 good quality photos, “worthy” of a portrait.
- We decide on the pose.
- You pay me a non-refundable 50% materials deposit by PayPal.
- I start the painting.
- I send you progress photos.
- When completely satisfied, you pay me the balance by PayPal.
- When I receive payment (and your painting is dry), it is shipped.
I work from photos, in oils, usually on archival quality linen or cotton panels, but you may choose a different surface.
I’m very easy to work with; I want you to be at ease and completely happy throughout the entire process.
FOR PORTRAITS of pets or people: Your portrait is painted in oil on archival quality panel, unframed, so you can choose a frame to match your decor and budget. If framing is desired, I will be happy to choose one for you, and mat and frame it for you for an additional price, which you will approve.
Available sizes and pricing: •5”x7” single subject, $200
•8”x 10” single subject portrait, $350
•9” x 12” single subject portrait, $500
•11” x 14” single subject portrait, $650
Additional Subjects: $50 per head extra. Shipping and insurance are FREE!
I am happy to paint larger works and on different substrates. I will quote you a price.
OTHER SUBJECTS: I charge $2.50 per square inch up to 1000 square inches ($100 minimum); after 1000 square inches, I charge $1.50 per square inch.
