I create paintings that celebrate diversity, inspired by the unguarded personality of children and their boundless energy and spirit.  After earning my degree from Pratt I returned home to Texas and worked as a both a Freelance Children’s Book Illustrator and Art Teacher.

My intentions are that the viewer forms a genuine connection with the subjects I depict—whether by sharing a universal moment or rediscovering a cherished, long-forgotten memory.

As an illustrator I’ve worked on projects for some of the largest and most prestigious publishing houses, in the industry, illustrating over ten children’s books in the process. As a painter, my works hang in the homes of patrons throughout the U.S. and world.  ​​​​​​​
