Painting is my passion.  To explore, learn, create and share a work of art is beautiful.

I grew up with the aroma of oil paint.  My mother was an artist who studied at the Beaux Art Ecole in Cairo, Egypt and worked with oils and water colors.  She had many solo and group exhibitions.

I took a different path, studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.  I came to Los Angeles for post graduate studies and have been living in LA ever since.  I started my career as a software engineer and later moved into project management.  Throughout the years I studied art and painted a little, but career demands did not leave enough time for painting.  Now I have more time, and I am happy to be pursuing my passion.
