Kay Moulton Dewar is a lifelong resident of Washington State. She is currently enjoying a second career creating fine art and designing websites. She previously was employed by the University of Washington for 30 years as a graphic artist in the sciences. After working almost exclusively in colored pencil for a number of years she is now venturing into painting mediums--acrylic and oil and pastel.

Her artwork has been published in the Best of Colored Pencil 3 (1996), Best of Colored Pencil 4 (1998), and Best of Colored Pencil 5 (1999). In 2005 her artwork was included in "Colored Pencil Comes of Age" in the quarterly American Artist Drawing magazine (Winter 2004) and in "Drama in Black, White and French Gray" in the American Artist magazine (June, 2005). More recently her work was included in "CP Treasures" (2012) published by Ann Kullberg.
