I was born in the Czech Republic, where I also live. I spent my childhood in the countryside, surrounded by nature and animals. I've been drawing for fun since I was little. One of my biggest supporters was my grandfather, who also kept all my "artworks" from my childhood. Thanks to him I can present one of them here :)

When I had to decide on further education after primary school, I wanted to be either a professional horse rider or an artist. My parents, however, were of a different opinion and I started studying a technical program at college. I stopped creating entirely for many years to come.

The door to my own art was opened for me again by the course "Drawing with the Right Brain Hemisphere", which I received as a birthday present. It was a pencil drawing  and the course gave me back the desire and confidence to create. I am attaching a drawing (one of the most famous portraits of Salvador Dalí) which was my final work there. After that, I also discovered colored soft pencils (the portrait of my granny below).

I am a self-taught artist. In my own creation I prefer the figurative theme, but I also love to depict any subject, which speaks to me. I work with the dry mediums - graphite, pastels, pencils or colored pencils. I also "flirt" with acrylic colors and wotercolors painting.
