We all seek self-expression in our lives and we each do this in a way that is meaningful to us, that opens unique possibilities. In my case, my chosen medium is art and at present predominately painting in oil.

I've been fortunate enough to have visited beautiful and interesting places both in my own country, the USA, and in other countries as well. I am originally from California. I left the USA for the first time in the '70s, backpacking in Europe, living on kibbutzim in Israel for a year, in Barcelona for a year. I have lived in the Caribbean, spent considerable time in South America, lived on the Big Island for many years. Currently I am in the beautiful seaside town of Villanova i la Geltru, Spain. Living in different "landscapes" has complemented my artistic formation.

Formally I studied fine art at Santa Monica Community College, Novato Indian College, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, and a lifetime of workshops with amazing teachers that continues to the present.
