‚ÄčLinda was born in Oklahoma, but moved as an infant with her parents to Washington, DC.  There she developed her love of art, surrounded by the rich collections of the National Gallery, the Corcoran and the Phillips Museum. 

She followed her love of art through collage, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of Fine Arts from George Washington University.  She studied painting and drawing at the University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria.  She also studied painting with Thomas Downing, celebrated painter of the Washington Color School, at the Corcoran School of Art.

Linda worked as a commercial artist, doing graphic design for many commercial customers in the Washington, DC area.  She now concentrates on her fine art, doing both en plein air and studio painting.  She has worked in many media including drawing, ceramics, oil and acrylic painting.  She was a member of the Del Ray Potters and exhibited her porcelain in Alexandria and Arlington, Virginia.  She exhibits regularly at the MOCA gallery in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC and at the Blueberry gallery in Alexandria, Virginia.
