Hello and welcome!

My name is Marina. Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by the world's beauty and vibrance. Growing up in Odesa, Ukraine, right by the Black Sea, I was surrounded by unique architecture, a colorful culture, and stunning seascapes. While I didn't go to art school, I've always loved to draw and paint whenever I could. Watercolor's fluidity and quirks have always fascinated me, and I've been on a mission to master them.

By day, I'm a software engineer and a mom to a lively preschooler, which means my art time is limited, but I make the most of it. Over a decade ago, my family and I moved to California, and I've been soaking up and sketching its breathtaking scenery ever since. Hiking is my go-to for relaxation, and my sketchbook is my trusty companion.

This year, I joined the fantastic Tri-Valley artists' community and started showcasing my work in local exhibitions and galleries around the Bay Area. It's been an incredible boost to my confidence and creativity.
