Maryanne Jacobsen is a colorist and contemporary impressionist with a distinctive and unforgettable style. Maryanne strives to create paintings that attempt to reflect the beauty and passion that she feels when observing the magic of the Creator's own sacred Hand, displayed in all its glorious splendor throughout nature. Since she began painting in 2006, she has garnered dozens of awards, and has been juried into National shows and juried plein air events across the country. She enjoys painting from life, and paints plein air when possible.  She is being collected enthusiastically in both corporate and private collections throughout the world by collectors who have embraced the vitality and spontaneity in her work. She is a Signature member of the American Impressionist Society as well as American Women Artists, and is an Associate member of Oil Painters of America.
