Nicole White Kennedy
Signature Member the American Impressionist Society

“I cannot remember when I didn’t draw. My formative years were spent doodling in the margins. Having grown up around (and married) restaurateurs, I am by nature drawn to drama, storytelling and have acquired a lifelong habit of people watching. Which explains why I am particularly enamored with street scenes, beach people, figures in an environment, subjects with a narrative flair. Having said that, there really isn’t any subject that I don’t love to paint, it could be a plein air scenic day at the coast, a farm, a still life or a large boat scene. I continue to challenge myself using primarily oils. My journey focuses on the pursuit of excellence, raising the bar after each painting, creating a never ending creative and technical challenge each time I step up to the blank canvas." Nicole
