I grew up, and currently live, outside of Philly, Pa. My best subject in school was always art so I attended Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and majored in Textile Design. I designed bedding for Fieldcrest Cannon in NY City for 20 years. I moved back to the Philly area in 2001 and am still painting. I am a member of ARTsisters, and Mixed Media 10. I show my work in solo shows throughout the area: libraries, cafes, churches, assorted businesses and I take classes at The Wayne Art Center, with a wonderful teacher, Carol Kardon. I also show my work online on Daily Paintworks and Art Storefronts sites. Once a week, I paint with several artist friends in the sunroom of a mansion, looking out on trees. I have no obligations, my job is art. If I am not painting, I am doing something related to my art, such as writing this bio.
