Thanks for looking at my gallery! Here's a bit about me:

I completed my BFA at Penn State University. I continue my education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in addition to private workshops and classes.I have been represented in Bucks and Hunterdon County galleries as well as many juried shows. I have won awards for my work in both watercolor and oil. I have taught watercolor as a continuing education instructor at Bucks County Community College and as a workshop instructor at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ.

As I make progress on my "Throwing Shade" series of Philly folk sporting shades, I'm offering prints and accessories instead of the original oils. I'm working toward 100 paintings and hoping to hang the series as a group. There is a party of them gathering in my studio. They speak to each other, especially when I'm not looking. Hope you enjoy!

My larger paintings are on cradled boards and framed (in those lovely Ampersand floater frames) for shows and events in and around Philly. They're not as fun and zippy to wrap and mail as the lovely flat Ampersand gessobords I use for my 5 x 7" and 6 x 6" paintings. My larger, framed works are quite a bit more expensive, as local venues must sustain themselves with commissions to keep the lights on and the wine flowing!

Thank you to all of you who have purchased my paintings. You mean the world to me!

"I don't know a better definition of an artist than one who is eternally curious. Every successful canvas has been painted from the point of view of a student, for a great painter is always a student." -Charles Hawthorne.
