When Covid19 forced us all inside, I started doodling. It turned into an interesting painting, and I decided to keep going. I made it into a praactice where I would start painting with no predefined plan. I had to step aside and watch what came through me, no matter how it turned out. It took some work to allow myself to make paintings that might suck, but after I braced myself for that possibility, some of them came out quite well.
