I don't have a lot of shaped substrate to work on, but I always enjoy doing circular pieces. This is only the second one I've done, and I mostly chose to put the artichoke on this one because the colors in the pour were perfect. The artichoke had started to brown during this piece, but I decided to up the saturation and make it really fun. I love how it looks in person and it works well with its companion piece.
